Some people choose an interior designer because they like that particular designer’s style. For others, it’s important to choose a designer that understands the look you’re going for and can bring that vision to life. One approach is not necessarily better than the other, but either way, this will likely be a huge investment of time and money so it’s important to have an idea of what the final design will look like before you start ripping out cabinets and painting the walls.
For example. Let’s say Mr. Vader was remodeling his master bathroom. The image on the left shows how I might design it in the way I think is best. However, after meeting with The Vaders and getting to know what they like and dislike, and how the space will be used, we see a very different design outcome begin to appear. After some discussion and some (much needed) compromise with Mrs. Vader, we have settled on an outcome they both love!
