Brendan McFarland

Interior Designer & Digital Artist / Structural Technician, 932 Civil Engineering Squadron

My experience in real estate, construction, and home rehabbing has led me to my true passion in the field of interior design. I work with Design professionals, Construction Professionals, Real Estate Professionals and Homeowners to help them visualize their design and remodel projects.

My passion is helping others realize their design dreams. I enjoy the whole design process, from space planning, to product and material selections, and of course, creating the visuals that showcase design possibilities. Working with the modeling, rendering, and painting programs is what I love, and I'm always learning new techniques and working hard to master the many nuances of these programs to get results that make me proud.

Other than this, I've been a member of the U.S. Air Force since 2004, spending the first 5 years on active duty as a flightline technician. Since then I've made the transition to the Reserves where I switched careers to be more in line with my civilian work. Currently I'm a structural technician (carpenter) based out of Scott AFB in Illinois. This has given me the opportunity to earn degrees in real estate, construction tech, and most recently interior design. The past few years I have had the honor to work with Rebuilding Together here in St. Louis as a project lead and look forward to working on more projects in the future. They work with homeowners in the area who are typically older and disabled and in need of safety repairs to their homes

When I'm not working you'll find me at the gym, on the mountain bike trails, or catching up on my podcast/audiobook addiction.
